What do you do to keep yourself fresh? I’m not talking showers here but what do you do to keep your style fresh – your clothes, hair and makeup. I’ve gone from loving magazines to being almost completely reliant on social media for inspiration.
Here are my top 5 tips for finding style inspiration so get ready!

5. Google
This is one of my favourite sources for quick inspiration in the morning when I don’t know what to wear! What I do is focus on one key item and Google it followed by the words “street style”. Voila, my outfit is pretty much laid out for me! Adding the words street style to your search brings up fashion editors, off duty models, and bloggers and keeps your searches current.
4. Print
Since I’m getting so much daily inspiration online, I’m more selective about the magazines and books I buy. My favorites are currently Style.com the magazine (for the runway reviews and Tommy Ton’s awesome street style photography), British Vogue, French Vogue, and Elle UK (I find the European mags more compelling and fashion forward). And then there are the beautiful coffee table books. Rizzoli, Assouline, Taschen, and Abrams make some of my favorite ones and publish designers and icons like Daphne Guinness, Diana Vreeland, The Olsens, Carine Roitfeld, Alexander McQueen, and Yves Saint Laurent.
3. Pinterest
If you don’t already use Pinterest – go open an account and start pinning! I’ve organized my boards by personal style (all black, minimal, denim, men’s style, etc) so that I can get quick inspiration when I need it. I also have other interests like home decor, food, and art. I like using the search option to look up my favorite style icons like Emmanuelle Alt and the French Voguettes, Sofia Coppola, Jenna Lyons, Lou Doillon and her sister Charlotte Gainsbourg as they always provide me with great inspo. 2. Instagram
To me nothing is more exciting and inspirational than seeing how real people are wearing trends, how they’re styling themselves, and what they’re buying. I think this is why IG has become such a powerful tool for fashion bloggers and influencers. Some of my favorite accounts cover #ootd’s, #accessories, and my favorite topic, #shoes. If you don’t already, go follow some fashion bloggers via Instagram and I promise fresh style inspiration will just keep flowing in. Soon enough, you won’t even ask yourself “What am I going to wear?”. (Follow my me on Instagram via @woahstyledotcom)
1. Blogs
Blogs are my number one area of getting style inspiration. Like I said, it’s all about seeing how real people are interpreting trends. I also love reading reviews on brands and accessories and watching makeup tutorials on YouTube. Some of my favorite blogs are: fashiontoast.com (Rumi’s accessory collection is killer), fashionedchic.com/blog/ (Erica is a personal stylist and has the best fashion tips), thebeautylookbook.com (for luxury makeup reviews and product comparison) and lipstickwithsomesunshine.com (I love Tamira’s minimal clean photography, makeup reviews, and her personal style). Follow my blog at woahstyle.com to see what I’m up to.
