Christian Lacroix Journals
J’adore these gorgeous Christian Lacroix journals!
The layers of uniquely crafted collage-like images on top of geo shapes, stripes and gold create these vibrant journals.
Just recently, I had decided I needed to journal again. However I wasn’t sure if I should buy a new journal, since I had a journal book with plenty of untouched pages. But then I came across these unique Christian Lacroix journals/notebooks and I was tempted to buy them immediately. And then my little inner critic encouraged me to just recycle my older journal with untouched pages. SO I did. But…to my dismay (or my excitement)… I found myself a bit annoyed with it because of how hard the binding was. The binding was a very pretty watercolor floral design, however the problem was that the binding was really stiff. The stiff binding made it tough and annoying to write in. So… (to my excitement!) off I went, back to Fred Segal in Santa Monica to buy these perfect little Christian Lacroix Journals that I adored.
I just had to buy 2 of these opulent Christian Lacroix journals!
One journal is now my regular journal, while the other smaller one is my new little pocket notebook/journal. A good friend recently suggested to journal quick little gratitude statements for: 1. What is it that I am grateful for today & 2. What I know I will be grateful for in my future, as if I am already willing it to be. I mean…c’mon- what a great idea and what a perfect little journal to start with. I definitely know what’s the first gratitude statement I’m going to write in it: I am Grateful for my gorgeous Christian Lacroix Journals!
Pictured above are the ones I decided to bring home. The one in front with floral images on top of black and white stripes is called “Feria.” It is A6 size (4-1/8 x 5-7/8″) and goes for approx. $12.00 USD. The one behind is called “Les Agnes Baroques.” It is larger at A5 size (5-7/8 x 8-1/4″) and goes for approx. $20.00 USD. They both are designated as “Lay-flat Notebooks,” have ornate back covers, decorated inside covers, ruled pages, and a place holder ribbon. (see images below).
*What I like about these journals is that they actually do lay flat when you write in them, which is key. And the line spacing is just right, not to big and not too small.
If you don’t journal you could always use these beautiful notebooks as you work notepad. Just you wait- You’ll be getting ton’s of compliments and looks of envy from your co-workers. Also, the Christian Lacroix designs come in the form of note cards/ greeting cards as well (see below).
