The Bazaar’s Cotton Candy Old Fashion, using Molecular Gastronomy!
After dinner with great friends we headed to The Bazaar in Beverly Hills to check out what cool drinks they were mixing up. My friends had been there before and told me I needed to see these adventurous drinks they were serving up at The Bazaar’s Bar Centro.
When we arrived at Bar Centro (inside the SLS Hotel) it was around 11pm on a Thursday night. The place was definitely busy but not annoyingly packed. We went straight up to the bar to order our drinks. Since I tend to order drinks that are less sweet, I was hesitant to order this Cotton Candy Old Fashion. But one of my friends insisted that I had to try it… and SEE IT! So, I did. It was delicious and so fun to watch being made. I felt as if I were watching a magic trick. It was definitely a mini adventure and lot’s of fun. I will be going back to try more of their drinks, (maybe dinner) using the molecular gastronomy method.
(The video above is my video I shot of the Cotton Candy Old Fashion being made. I apologize that I shot the video in portrait…opps!). Check out more pics below.
